Since August 1, 2025, Louisiana allows tint down to 25% VLT (visible light transmission) on both the front and back side windows, darker than the old 40% front limit, and down to 12% VLT on the rear windshield. The front windshield can only have a non-reflective strip along the top, above the AS-1 line. A medical exemption process is available for darker tint. We'll confirm legal options for your specific vehicle before install.

A full vehicle typically takes 1–2 hours depending on the number of windows and film type. We'll give you an exact time estimate when you book.
Both block 100% of UV rays. Ceramic film is our high-end option — it uses ceramic particles to block significantly more heat, resists fading longer, and won't interfere with radio, GPS, or phone signal. Entry-level film costs less and still delivers solid UV protection and glare reduction.

Wait at least 3–5 days before rolling your windows down, longer in cooler or humid weather, so the film fully cures and adheres to the glass.
Properly installed film, cared for correctly, should stay smooth and bubble-free for years. Avoid rolling windows down during the initial cure period and avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners on tinted glass.
Use a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Ammonia-based cleaners can break down the film's adhesive and darkening layer over time. Wait until the film is fully cured before cleaning the inside of tinted windows.
We stock multiple VLT levels — including 5%, 20%, 35%, and 50% — in both entry-level and ceramic film. 5% and 20% offer the most privacy. Louisiana sets different limits for each window, so we'll help you choose a shade that's legal for each window on your vehicle.
